Approximately 4-5 links per inch. Sturdy chain. I did my official 'tug test' and could not break it. NOTE: "Antique Brass" is the color of the chain. This chain is NOT an antique, nor is it brass. This is unsoldered chain, however the space where each link meets is very, very minimal, so anything attached to the chain will be not slip through.
